FINAL HEY BROTHER
Improvements:
From my first clip I have made full use of the green screen with tight edits in place of a stills image. Incorporated a lip sync sequence at the beginning. It was much more tighter cut so that the pace of the clip was improves. I revisited the rushes and utilised raw material we filmed. As a result the music video shows a good balance of performance and narrative and makes more sense.
As I said I revisited the rushes and utilised some of the original film, which works because it helps explain the narrative a better pace which is key for a slow song. Also I changed the green screen from a picture to a piece of film which continues the story but because I have the singer on the screen as well and it works we with a slow song.

Incidental music is often "background" music, and adds atmosphere to the action
ambient sound - Here the sound is more important than notes. It is generally identifiable as being broadly atmospheric and environmental in nature.
Voiceover - When a voice, often that of a character in the film, is heard while we see an image of a space and time in which that character is not actually speaking
Music Video P1(b)
I found that this was inspiring and different because the video addressed what is happening in South Africa by making it clear to the audience and what is happing in a short musical story. With the editing it was all set in a fast pace which made the music video more exciting. There was a good shot various as in a scene they used two cameras to give the effect of jolting.
I found that that music video was quiet boring because of the fact that there is a lot of repartition, which after a while can make it quiet dull. The editing was done to show different sectors of what the song was about - what I mean by this is, is the fact that some of it was music playing with lyrics on the screen, the next scene could be of the people dancing then the one after could be the dancers talking about what happened and dim down the music.
